Antonio López (Presidente de honor y actual presidente del Instituto de Análisis de Intangibles), Javier Fernández del Moral (ex presidente), Rose Marie Losier (Directora General) y Pascual Montañés (profesor de Dirección Estratégica del Instituto de Empresa) han acompañado a Borja Puig, actual presidente de la Institución, en la mesa presidencial.
En su discurso, el Presidente ha destacado la variedad y calidad de las firmas participantes en el anuario, entre las que destacan personajes como Margot Wallström (Vicepresidenta de la Comisión Europea, responsable para las Relaciones Institucionales y Estrategia de Comunicación y prologuista del Anuario 2007), David Rockland (Presidente de la Comisión de Evaluación y Medición del Institute for Public Relations -IPR-), Fernando Valdés (Presidente de la AEA), Carlos Rubio (Director General de la AEAP) o Isabel Aguilera (Directora General Google España), entre otros, quienes se han encargado de dar su particular visión del presente y el futuro de la Comunicación.
Tras Borja Puig de la Bellacasa, ha sido Pascual Montañés quien ha tomado la palabra como invitado de honor de la ceremonia, sucediendo así al Secretario de Estado de Comunicación, Fernando Moraleda, quien se ha ausentado en esta ocasión. Del discurso de Montañés, profesor de Dirección Estratégica en el Instituto de Empresa, destaca el cambio de roles ocurrido en el panorama económico, en el que ahora prima más lo intangible que lo tangible. Es precisamente dentro de este nuevo contexto en el que se alza con fuerza la figura del Director de Comunicación y de otros profesionales responsables de áreas como las de Relaciones Institucionales o Recursos Humanos, habituados a lidiar con la intangibilidad.
